what we offer
Upon arrival at Clouds Hotel & Villas, you’ll be escorted to your beautiful room, suite or villa. A welcoming glass of Clouds wine will immediately acquaint you with South Africa’s warm spirit.
The rooms and villas were designed to offer guests panoramic views of the landscape via floor-to-ceiling windows. All accommodation options feature designer furnishings, original South African art and top-of-the-range technology. Our check-in time is from 14h00 and check-out time is 11h00.
Kindly read our Terms on the Rates page. By reserving a room via our website, you agree that the booking terms are fair, reasonable and necessary to secure your reservation and compensate Clouds Estate in the event of a cancellation.
Rooms
Our hotel rooms look out onto a beautiful valley. Amenities include a Nespresso machine, Smart TV with satelite channels and a range of streaming services. The bathrooms offer Charlotte Rhys toiletries, a high-quality hairdryer, flip-flops and heated towel rails.
The special feature of each hotel room is the complimentary mini-bar stocked on arrival with a bottle of Clouds’ wine, 2 beers, 2 soft drinks and 2 fruit juices. At turndown, we refresh your hotel room and bathroom. Honeymoon couples (please inform us of your honeymoon status) get a romantic turndown on the first night, no matter which room type they choose.
Standard Room
Open the ceiling to floor sliding doors and step onto your spacious balcony. Balcony seating and a small table is provided.
The room has a king bed and can be converted to twins. In the bedroom, you will find a laptop safe, fluffy gowns, complimentary flip flops on request, complimentary mini-bar (stocked on arrival), Nespresso maker, kettle, and some glassware for the wine.
The bathroom has a shower; double basins, heated towel rail and underfloor heating complete the picture. This room is 28m2.
Luxury Room
Both of our Luxury rooms have a king bed that can be converted to twins. In the bedroom, you will find a laptop safe, fluffy gowns, complimentary flip flops on request, complimentary mini-bar (stocked on arrival), Nespresso maker, kettle, and some glassware for the wine.
The bathrooms each has a spacious modern shower, double basin, heated towel rail, and underfloor heating. Only room 2 has a bathtub, to request this room please contact us directly and note that we will try our utmost, but cannot always guarantee this.
The Luxury rooms are 30m2.
Deluxe Room
Each room has a king bed and can be converted to twins. In the bedroom, you will find a laptop safe, fluffy gowns, complimentary flip flops on request, complimentary mini-bar (stocked on arrival), Nespresso maker, kettle, and some glassware for the wine.
The spacious bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. Double basins, heated towel rail, and underfloor heating are here for your comfort and convenience.
The Deluxe rooms are 50-52m2.
Superior Room
With a private entrance separate from the hotel, this room opens up to a balcony facing Simonsberg Mountain and has a second extra large deck with a private Jacuzzi, umbrella and sun loungers. In the bedroom, you will find a king-bed, laptop safe, fluffy gowns, complimentary flip flops on request, complimentary mini-bar (stocked on arrival), Nespresso maker, kettle, and some glassware for the wine.
The spacious bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. Double basins, a heated towel rail, and underfloor heating are here for your comfort and convenience.
This room is 50m2 with a 55m2 Jacuzzi deck.

Garden suite
This Junior Garden suite is a spacious king bedded room overlooking Simonsberg Mountain and has a comfortable seating area as well as a private deck and garden for relaxation. A large, modern bathroom has a bath and separate shower. Underfloor heating in the bathroom, fluffy gowns, Wi-Fi, stocked (on arrival) mini bar, Nespresso machine, fresh fruit and snacks, as well as DStv and streaming services are part of the suite’s amenities.
The suite shares the villa pool that overlooks the Simonsberg Mountain.
This suite is 70m2.
Vineyard SUITE
Our two vineyard suites have magnificent views of our own Shiraz vineyard and the mountains beyond.
Inside the suite a king bed awaits you, with a comfortable seating area. The suite has plenty of cupboard space, a dresser, a complimentary mini bar (on arrival), free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine, fresh fruit and snacks, as well as DStv and streaming services.
The spacious bathroom has a freestanding bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating, fluffy gowns and Charlotte Rhys complete the amenities.
The suites share our Villa pool, overlooking the magnificent Simonsberg Mountain.
The Vineyard suites are 72m2.
POOL SUITE
The spacious Pool suite has a private entrance separate from the hotel and opens up to a terrace facing Simonsberg Mountain and a private heated pool, (shared by the 2 suites)

VILLAS
Our villas offers comfort and charm, from the tranquil bedroom and spacious living area, you will find everything you need to feel at home.
DELUXE VILLA
1-bedroom villa with king bedded room, bathroom, and a large kitchen/lounge/dining area with sliding doors opening onto a private patio.
Free WiFi, a flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, Nespresso machine, kettle, and fridge. Also equipped with hairdryers, laptop safes.
Guests occupying the Villa’s have access to a beautiful shared pool that overlooks our gorgeous panoramic views.
The Villa has a sleeper couch in the lounge for 2 extra guests between the ages of 12 and 17 at an additional fee of R950.00 per night on request.

two bedroom villa - cloud 9
A uniquely designed villa that has a central lounge/kitchen between the bedrooms, floor to ceiling glass sliding doors opening up to a spacious deck from all indoor spaces for al-fresco dining.
The bedrooms have king-size beds with picture-perfect views of the Simonsberg & Drakenstein mountains. Each bedroom, as well as the lounge, has a smart TV, both bedrooms you will find fluffy gowns, complimentary flips flops on request, and a laptop-size safe.
It has a fully equipped kitchen including a mini bar fridge, stovetop, and oven, microwave, Nespresso maker, kettle, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.

Shower Rooms
We have 2 shower rooms each featuring a shower and dressing area. This is ideal for guests arriving on an early flight or for later and evening departures, who wants to freshen up after a day spent poolside. The modern rooms with their open design walk-in shower, basin, hair dryer, luxurious towels and Charlotte Rhys bathroom amenities are there for your comfort.
If you require the use of a shower room at a specific time, kindly book with the front desk. The usage fee of R750 can be settled on departure.
