Clouds' Harvest 2026

This is more than a working wine farm; it is a boutique space shaped around calm and connection.

The South African harvest runs between the end of January and the end of March; however, an unseasonably warm spring meant our harvest starting almost 3 weeks earlier than planned.

At first light you will find us in the vineyards, starting the process. Timing is crucial for the best fruit quality. The process of manual sorting, destemming, and pressing of the grapes follows an early morning pick, with some grapes even pressed in an age-old process by stomping on the grapes with bare feet. This is all part of our hands-on approach. Guests on the estate are invited to join the harvest.

Our winemaker, Donovan Rall guides the whole process, with his usual minimal approach, letting the grapes speak for themselves. Excellent fruit quality, natural fermentation and small batch production are the cornerstones of our wine style.

Our wines begin here, each variety shaped by the terroir and guided with care.
